Belief in heaven makes you more likely to commit crime

Here's a really badly written article in the Mail which seems to say that people who believe in heaven are more likely to commit crimes than people who believe in hell.

I couldn't really make much sense of that, do some religions only have heaven and no hell? Which are those? I thought the three big ones all believed in heaven and hell?

I have read a previous article in New Scientist which did explain that religious people were more immoral, particularly more devout religious people. It seems those who put so much faith in God don't like to answer so much for their own actions, after all how can they be doing wrong if they are on such good terms with their maker?

And as a good example Catholicism will allow you to carry out any nasty crimes, and providing you truly repent on your death bed you'll be accepted into the kingdom of heaven with open arms, regardless of how many kids you've fingered.
