I don't agree with the DLA cuts, but is that news??

So she's had her DLA cut, and that's awful, but the unfortunate fact is it's her and 1000s of others in the country too. Does Cameron give a damn about teenagers writing him letters? I doubt it.

We are turning into a nation where everyone thinks if they whine a bit they will get what they want.

She complained about DLA being cut and they've reassessed her ESA. That's two totally separate benefits.

I hope cameron doesn't care about teenagers sending him letters. I'm all for helping people find ways to work around their disabilities.

I have to work around plenty of disabilities, the clients being the main one.

I'm sure you're not the only one in that position!

You can claim DLA and work.. Its not a case of one or the other.. I have a friend who has NF and has awful back pain constantly, for which they take morphine daily. They are having to find work due to DLA being cut and finishing Uni but the types of work they can do are severely restricted.

Gemronimo I take "Oramorph" and if I had to sign on I would be refused because "Any morphine"based drugs inhibit your reactions ergo your capabilities! anyone is entitled to DLA its not means tested, sure Ben if there is a way to get folk working I am all for it but not at the expense of other employees safety (which is surely an issue!) my kid brother tried to employ a lad who is "HIV" but the insurance compny refused him cover for any employee with a disease that is on some register! perhaps the government should look at that??
