Carrying Penknives

I don't carry one, I've never really needed one.

No way I'd give my 10 year old a penknife. What a big bag of crap! He'd be showing it off and I;d only have myself to blame if he got stabbed!!

I have done, used to have one when I was about 9 or 10 and used to go fishing. Not these days, I have no need for one. The days of kids whittling bits of wood are long gone.

Haven't carried any sort of blade since the day I got collared by some dumb-wit copper when I used to carry a Seamans knife when going to cadets.

I had a small ivory handled cast steel penknife when I was 8 which was my granddadz, blade snapped.
I have had a penknife and othuz ever since.
