Radio: Indian girl can not bring white English boyfriend home, she is told its because of a culture difference.

Culture difference??? wtf is the difference between the two and why is the indian not told its because her family are racists?? are people in this country really that scarred to tell the truth or is it because the radio host was afraid of being classed racist by admitting that the indian family were exactly that?

Is it racist?
Lots of reasons for not wanting to encourage interracial relationships aren't there?
I wouldn't stop it but I can understand the reluctance to go down that road.

Well, you seem to believe yourself that it's racist so you explain it. If the Indian family are "surely racist" then you are also "surely racist" by your own standards, never mind anyone else's.

Nope, it's clearly about race. Not all Indian men live their lives according to Indian customs.

How can you be "against certain cultures"? Cultures exist, just as lots of other things do. You can't say a certain culture has no right to exist. That's like saying a certain species of animal has no right to exist (although I sometimes feel that way about spiders ).

Well, people certainly do say that cultures have no right to exist. And many want to keep other cultures out of Britain.

I believe that by and large radio/TV hosts dare not speak their minds unless they are pro blackz, Muslumz or whatever, to be anti would cost them their livelihood so most keep it buttoned up.

Radio and TV hosts on the BBC have to remain unbiased for starters, on everything.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find many in the entertainment industry that would be against cultures of any sort.
