    Default Disabled Concessions-Theme Park.

Theme park tells one-legged woman 'you need a letter to prove you're disabled' | Mail Online

This is scandalous and offensive IMHO. The woman has produced the appropriate documentz before and she obviously only has 1 complete leg, poor bleeda.

    BUT???
Why do/should certain disabled people expect and get concessionz for varying thingz???

1st some disabled need Carers to be with them at all times <so in effect if there were no concessions the carer would have to be paid for by the disabled person just so they can visit said place
2nd a lot of theme parlks disabled can not get the full advantage of so why pay full price?/

I bet that bloke with no legs who died when he was thrown from a roller coaster would have been better off if they'd insisted on seeing a doctor's note for him.

It looks to me like disabled and theme parks really don't mix all that well. She should have gone shopping-lifting shoes, she could nab them straight off the rack if she only needs one.

That's the same as a parent. A kid needs a parent to be with them at all times, so they end up having to pay the full adult price just to get in to places so they can look after their kid. A lot of the time the parent can't take full advantage, but they still have to pay full price. When I was pregnant I didn't get any concession at the theme park or the water park we went to, but I couldn't go on any of the rides.

We're going to the Louvre next week and when I was buying my tickets I noticed that kids and disabled people get in free of charge. Disabled people can use a side door and can jump to the front of the famousily long queues outside the pyramid. Why, do they get in for free? They're not gonna be able to see anything less than me?

most of the time a parent takes a child to atheme park is because the "Parent" wants to goseriously though a disabled person may only see or have use of limited parts of said Park ,most places in the uk give reductions not "FREE" places as such!!
