On future of Egypt

Hosni Mubarek of Egypt has finally stepped down, but he has transferred the torch to his Defense Minister who has a record of working as an anti-reformer. He will head the military council till the process of democratization ends to the first expected point. Defense people are reluctant to leave the chair. This is a common experience. Egypt, at this junction, has the option to embrace democracy and change the atmosphere of the Arab world. Should we hope for the best?

Twill be difficult to shift people at the top who have been entrenched for years, set in their ways, in control, they will not wanna give that up easily.

The will of the people should count for something but as we know on this island we get lied to, conned as well.

It will be a long hard slog for them, at the end of the day we will just have to see, if we are still here...
