Default Prince Harry to serve in Iraq

The Ministry of Defence has confirmed that Prince Harry's regiment is to serve in Iraq.
His regiment, the Blues and Royals, has been told it will serve in the war torn country as part of the latest deployments.
The prince will be the first senior royal to serve on the front line since Prince Andrew in the Falklands in 1982.
Defence Secretary Des Browne is expected to give more details on the deployment in a written statement to the Commons later.

Another good idea of Nulabor to rid the country of vermin no doubt, so that Mr Bliar can acceed to the level of dictator after Harry's demise..

Yesterday the PM was talking about bringing the troops home, so now he's sending Harry off to do the dirty work.

To be fair to Bliar (God I hate to do this, I can't believe that I wrote that ) it is the Army High command who decide which Regiments are deployed.

I see no reason why Harry shouldn't go, it's traditional for Royals to serve in the Armed forces and to be in harms' way.
In fact, proportionally, the Royals send more of their offspring into the services than polititians do..................It has been suggested that it is because they have more notion of their responsibilities to their country than the politicos do

"Prince Harry to serve in Iraq"

Yes, he's going to work at a newly opened "Pizza Hut" as a waiter.

Indeed. You've got to give it to the Royal family - they are absolutely pathological in their efforts to thoroughly rid themselves of Di's ignominious philandering.

Everybody knows that Harry is Hewitt's son (I'm sure Phil's had his DNA checked), and to have him third in line to the throne is an abomination. I predict a checkpoint car-bomb or helicopter 'accident' within a month of his arrival.

Poor sod - I wonder if he realises it's a one-way ticket? I doubt it - he seems to have inheritted a Di-like inability to grasp the reality of his situation.

We can all be wise in hindsight?

I predict that the Allies will win WW 2 and that the losers will become better off.

Hmm I don't understand why they announced this ? So that insurgent move can organize some sort of attack ?
On the other side this is good move since it will show the british people that not only "ordinary" people go to war zone.

    Go Go Harry !
