Big Boobs!

British women have the biggest breasts in Europe, a survey revealed yesterday.

The poll for bra maker Triumph found that only in this country did more than half the women need a D cup or larger.

Our 57 per cent put the rest in the shade, with Denmark second on 50 per cent, then Holland with 36 per cent.

Smallest were the Italians where 68 per cent had a size B.

The Swedes and the Swiss had the largest number of A cup sizes at 14 per cent.

Do Brits have the biggest breasts because we have the biggest women?

I don't think it's to do with the size of the woman everywhere else. I can rarely find a bra to fit me here (and I'm just 'average' - if not smaller by British standards). It's really weird because I can spot a tourist in my town a mile away by their breast size.

In the summer, we have an abundance of 'normal' breasted women about. I feel like Pamela Anderson amongst a lot of Kylie Minogue's in winter though.

Interesting thread. Did the survey happen to speculate on what causes Brittish women to have the largest breasts? How did US women compare with the European women, especially the British?

It didn't say. I read it in The Sun though. That paper never goes too deep, in fact, i'm surprised it didn't just say Brits have the biggest boobs and then go on to show a double page spread of them.

My mum always says if you've got 'overly large' ones, there's more to sag when you get older. She was very wrong. I had smallish ones, but the 'sag effect' made them grow in length.
