Stolen Chairs.

My mate ordered a skip for a 8.30am delivery today, they said that they would do their best to make sure it was on time, but---------.

His car was on the road saving a space for this skip.

His wife had to go to work at 8.30am so off she went, no skip yet.
He takes 2 chairs from the Kitchen and puts them where the car was parked so as to keep the space.

The phone went, it was the skip people saying they were on there way but would be a little late.
No prob, well not yet.

He went for a wee and back out the front to see if the lorry was to be seen.
Someone had nicked his bleedin chairs.

He ain't best pleased, they were new last Xmas.

He reckons I am rotten for laffin, can't help it. ha ha ha ha ha.

And the moral of this story is... you don't own the road, you have no right to try and reserve any part of it, so when you try and it all goes tits up, you've only got yourself to blame.

The chairs have been put into his front garden over night.
He reckons someone has a beef about him keeping a spot for the skip, seen his chairs in the short time they were outside and took them as a protest has he had a skip not long ago which was there quite a while.

What are you supposed to do when a skip is coming?

If he had left their car parked there nothing would have happened, I suppose.
