Default Britains First Full Face Transplant Will Be Carried Out This Year

A team of doctors will be performing this country's first face transplant later in the year after being given the go ahead from an ethics committee.

What is your ethical view on this procedure?

For all you patriots, the patient who receives the new fizzog will be British. The doctors are refusing to treat foreigners.

But the worst part of all this is it's totally funded by charity. Why the fuck aren't the NHS covering this? It's fucking scandalous.

If the charity wanna pay, I say let them and say thank you very much, it is helping the NHS anyway, the recipient will benefit, which is the main thing.
The money they are saving will help another person, I hope.
The NHS are getting choosy who they help and who they don't, if you are obese they do not wanna operate on you.

And if the charity didn't exist?

The NHS is supposed to help everyone, and as best it can. This kind of thing should be provided by the NHS, it's not like a fucking boob job.

Yes, you are right, I agree the NHS should pay for that serious op, every little helps from charities though.

Mandelson applauds NHS after op, he is happy with it, no doubt he had a private room. .

The easiest way to do Mandelsons op is to go up the tallywhacker, slice bits of the prostate gland and pull them out.
I am glad the NHS did that op and not the local garage.

If people stopped giving to charities and insisted the Government pull their fingers out the NHS might do what it's supposed to.

The government does tend to rely on charity and fundraising to do many of the things it then claims credit for.
