Tinkering with the NHS again.
If they wanna free up the the ambulance service and A&E then spend the same amount of money there instead of new schemes which will confuse some people, a lot I would imagine.

The introduction of a ' semi-emergency' number could confuse patients and delay the treatment of life-threatening injuries, it was claimed yesterday.

The new code, 111, is designed for those who need urgent attention - but whose condition is not serious enough to warrant a 999 call.

Details of the plan were unveiled by the Department of Health and telecoms regulator Ofcom yesterday.
