A rant about atheists

Right, let's get this straight first off, I don't believe in god or any of that shit.

Now we've covered that I'm gonna go onto the point of atheists these days. As I've already said, I'm no fan of religion, but what I am a fan of is tolerance, it's not fucking difficult for us all to have our own beliefs yet live together.

The atheism movement is becoming like a fucking religion itself these days, preaching to people like thost fucking annoying Christians do, even paying for signs to promote their own beliefs. I personally don't give a flying fuck if someone wants to believe in pixies ruling the world, I want to live my life as best I can and for the religious lot and the atheists to just fuck off and leave me alone.

If people want to believe, then go for it, live your life the way you want to, the same as I will. If people want to be atheists, then go for it, live your life the way you want, just have a think about things before you go around slagging people off becase they believe in something different to you, because when I see atheists doing that it's fucking annoying and reminds me of exactly why a lot of people dislike organised religion in the first place.

A while back I saw a blog written by an atheist who actually seemed PROUD to have fucked up a Christmas display at a local library, he was actually PROUD that he'd seen a local law that required public institutions like libraries to be neutral when it came to religion, so he complained and got it removed, the cunt.

So, to the militant atheists (and Christians, muslims etc who are the same as you), do the rest of us a favour and fuck off.

And another thing, I'm well aware that I have the freedom to choose my own morals etc, I don't need you atheist cunts to pay for signs on the sides of buses to tell me it's okay. Save your money for all that fornication and shit that the religious lot are always slating you for.

I am so with you on the intolerance of proselytising Atheists. They are a bunch of religious freaks just as much as any other religious fundamentalist proselytising group is. They get right up my wick with their self righteous bleating!

I don't mind pro-active atheism. The world would be a better place without religion.

I don't see a problem with people having faith in science and humanity. It's just the ones that think acting like cocks is somehow divine.

You don't find atheists condemning people, they just call people who believe in God idiots and encourage people to think for themselves. What's wrong with that?

Even the most pro-active and radical atheists don't hurt anybody in the name of their "faith".

The problem for me is that I do see that. The religious tossers do my head in with their preaching etc and the atheists do my head in with their slagging off of the religious lot. It's like there's some kind of pissing contest and they just HAVE TO sit in judgement on people. They're all as bad as each other.

As with religion, Atheism appears to give some people a purpose in life, which I'm sure is great, I just wish they'd get on with their shit quietly and stop bothering those of us who really don't give a shit what they think about religious people. There's probably a nice irony with my comments here and the fact that I've started a thread to slate atheists.

That's just it, you're being intolerant.

It's not so much the preaching that bothers me, it's the bottom line that theist religion is really fucking stupid and makes no sense, and some people will kill or die for it. That's what I think is a bad thing.

Atheists are no harm to anyone, I can understand why you would find them annoying. And considering I'm already an atheist if I start getting it rammed down my throat with advertising campaigns and whatnot I would probably find it annoying. But as individuals, I have no problem with atheists banging on about the non-existence of God. At least they're right.

I'm with Dayus. Poeple preaching atehism is as bad as any religious moralising. Live and let live. People can believe in Jedis if they want as long as they don't impose it on anyone else.
