Bad things happen to people everyday Major, you can't just let it run your life.

Winnie Johnson became obsessive about it, someone should have given her some sound advice years ago.

None of us know and I hope I, we, NEVER will.
I don't ... I have only buried 4 sons but none of them died the horrid deaths Keith Bennett and his fellow victims did.
On the other hand Marietta Jaeger Lane's 7 year old daughter was abducted, raped, murdered and dismembered. She is on record as saying that:
Though I struggled with rage and revenge, I became convinced to my best and most healing, freeing option of forgiveness.
I'm sure she knows what Keith Bennett's’ mother and all those other parents have had to face. I am not suggesting that she forget and unlike Mr Morningstarr* I am not suggesting she get over it. I suggest that by not having learnt to live through it, she has empowered those two sub-humans to continue to affect her life!

A lady, who's son had been murdered, was on the radio recently, saying she had forgiven the murderer. I believe she had, and realy admired her. She had done that, in order to live her own life, without a consuming hatred, that would have destroyed her.
I am sure, if the parents of the moors victims, had been able to,.. not forgive, but accept, and move on, they would have had a less tormented life.
I suppose none of us know which way we would act, untill we are in that position.
