Doing the washing, cleaning, cooking, diy and the garden is the mans job. It's the woman's job to just sit down and watch.

What if there isn't a man in the house to do any jobs, likewise no woman?

My playmate lives with his 80 odd year old Mum. if anything happens to her he'll be completely snookered. He believes in fairies to do everything!

Well, you've all been useless so far!

Traditionally ish, I know that a woman cleans the home, makes the bed, does the washing and if the man can't cook then they cook. And the man puts the bins out but what else does he do besides that?

Does each person put their own clothes away?

Who cleans the windows?

Do you food shop alone or together?

Who changes light bulbs?

OK, I give in here.
Mrs S does everything around the house except for repairs, maintenance, car repairs and servicing. She does all the shopping, I organise the money transfers.
My sole tasks these days are few and far between, but cover the anything technical and that which requires a bit of muscle.
It's quite surprising how often things go wrong that require my attention, but spread over a year they don't add up to much apart from saving the cost and hassle of getting 'a man' in to do it, which could amount to a large sum each year.
Her lack of Spanish also means that I have to be with her at the doctors, dentists, anywhere official and I have to make all phone appointments.

Whis is a bit personal but, when you've got undressed and your clothes need washing, what do you do with them? Do you put them in a basket or just leave them on the floor?
