It is definitely compelling reading, as I'm led to believe there are a lot more factors in "global warming" issues than simply human activity. Such as, solar energy fluctuations, the moving of the world's axis, and the moving of the continents.

It's like trying to calculate chaos theory. I mean, they can't get the wheather 100% right. So how we seem to be able to calculate the affects of global warming - or not as in that article. It just seems global warming is some kind of fashion trend. Something to keep the masses busy, feeling they're making a difference.

Obviously, this is my uneducated view, as I've never paid too much attention to this stuff. Does anyone here have strong Eco-warrior tendencies?

Whoever missed the tv prog last night should hope for a repeat if only because it may prepare the young uns for the weather they can expect in their old age and even before.
It was an in depth report based one reasonable scientific fact.
There may be some info here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/climate/

Growing olive trees already and some otherwise tropical fruits in the UK is something that hasn't been possible for over 500 years. The only thing that tells me is that it isn't the first time it's been warm in the UK.

Blackpool is to be the new Costa del Sol.
