My stomach isn't looking good at the moment (I look about six months pregnant). I don't think it's the extra snacks this early on, but it's scary. I don't mind putting some weight on, but I don't want to waddle.

I blew up at the dinner table today over a chunk of seeded bread. My husband was gonna take one of the last two pieces and I wanted BOTH. The hunger is awful - I was so angry at my husband for wanting one piece of bread when I'd had near enough the whole baguette to myself. It's stupid, but the food craving and hungry is really not what I expected.

You're just wanting us to say "it's OK, just have a fag love".

I don't actually want one, but I've been considering starting for health reasons.

I'm sitting here with my feet flat on the couch and my knees against my chest (which is usually really comfortable), but I have to open my knees slightly to let the extra belly poke through because it's pushing, and hurting, on my thighs too much.

I get that all the time. You get used to it.

I stopped years ago. I have'nt got much will power, so I told myself the next time I got a sore throat, which was often, I would give up cigs. I must have brain washed myself, because when I did get a sore throat, I stopped, and that was it.
What worked for me, also. I carried a packet around with me for months, So I would'nt get that panicky feeling of not having any, if I was desperate. I never opened that packet.

    Good luck.

Yeah, I've considered whether I'll have to now make the effort. I do get a lot of exercise as it is so I'm gonna see how it goes first. The belly I have at the moment is due to something I've eaten that hasn't agreed with me, not weight. I don't know what I've eaten though - the only thing I've had different is chocolate (lots of it ).

Did you get the hunger, syl1? If you did, what helped for you?
