    Is it wet or frozen? (or plastic ).

    I don't think it gets to the core of the wood as good if it's not dry - but I don't know to be honest.

    Some of it will be damp, probably, but two chairs are dry 'cos I've brought them indoors. I'm needing them as extra dinner chairs so wondered whilst I was sprucing them up whether I could do the outdoor (damp) stuff too.
