McDonalds wants to start making Halal products for it's Muslim customers.
The fast food giant is looking at how its supply chain and production processes could be changed.
Selling halal products to Muslims would boost the chain's sales in many parts of the UK.

In reply to the question, No we are not in a Muslim country but in a up and coming atheist one! people have no faith in religion, so i think that is more of a worry point.

coming back to the halal food, this again is a business strategy by mcd's who will see profits rise massively by doing this, so trust me they are not doing muslims any favours by doing this. there are plenty or halal takeaways and curry houses to feed the whole nation let alone muslims. im sure we can live with out mcd's.

also talking about the veil comment, which i thought was a bit ignorant, in this country we are expected to be accept everything in society. im sure if you can accept a man putting his penis into another man, then surely you can accept a woman wanting to cover up her dignity. not every woman wants to flaunt it...it attracts the wrong crowd, especially men who are after one thing!
