RONNIE BIGGS.
IYO should Ronnie Biggs have received such a high jail sentence for his part in 'the great train robbery'.
Should he still be in jail?
Great Train Robber Ronnie Biggs was being treated for pneumonia in hospital last night.
Fears were growing for him after a series of strokes and heart attacks have left him weak and vulnerable.
Biggs, 79, flew back to Britain in 2001 from Brazil after 35 years on the run.
He was rushed to hospital in Norwich from the city’s jail.
The Mirror broke the news to his family. Son Michael said: “We have not been told a thing.”
Considering how many criminals get short jail terms today I consider Biggs got too much.
Re: RONNIE BIGGS.
Has he even done ten years yet? As I understand it he's not done a great deal of jail time at all, considering the robbery and that he broke out of jail too.
Ill health shouldn't come into it, he did the crime and should do the time.
Writing crap on the internet for way too long.
Re: RONNIE BIGGS.
All the train robbers sentences were excessive,IMO...
The problem with Biggs is,he escaped from prison but instead of disappearing,he chose to rub the establishments face in his liberty and their inability to do anything about it...
Now it's payback time,I'm afraid....![]()
I'd rather you just said, thank you and went on your way..
Re: RONNIE BIGGS.
Why the fuck didn't he stay in Brazil?
Re: RONNIE BIGGS.
He won't get much of that in prison.

Re: RONNIE BIGGS.
He came back because he was ill and wanted free treatment. This man has taken, taken and taken, and never given anything back. As Dayus says, he did the crime so should do the time. I can think of more deserving causes for my sympathy.
