The most probable reason must be that she wanted a christmas present of ending up in jail.

She might have thought that it might be fun to end up in jail for christmas.

But on the other hand, most likely she knew she was going to get busted and wanted to go to jail. Maybe she thought it'd be a cool story to go and tell people. :O

OR maybe she just had friends around and people dared her? Who knows. Was she actually even drunk and did the cops even go find her?
