I used to work somewhere where you got an hourly bonus for just sitting at your desk for a full hour. If you popped to the toilet for even five minutes, you lost the bonus for that hour.

Yes. It was a call centre, so it's understandable. I know people who used to go to the toilet and eat their dinner there just to skive. Most women had cystitis and everyone had headaches that meant they had to walk around the whole floor looking for painkillers (it was the size of a football pitch). My boss eventually bought a huge box of paracetamol to stop people wandering - funnily enough no-one had headaches again.

We have a call centre and they get a 20 minute beak in every 2 hours, but I think they can have a 10 minute one every hour if they work it out right. One woman I know only works 4 hours a day so she has it pretty cushy. Bet her wages are shit though.

You have to have at least 5 mins an hour if you work at a computer workstation under HSE rules. Luckily, they are pretty serious about HSE where I work so they encourage you to get away from your desk regularly and walk about. Trouble is, not many people do it and you feel stupid just walking about the office.

I work at a computer but 'they' reckon that getting up do some filing or looking away to do some considerative work is a break away from it. Twats!

Remember to dilute it in a bucket or something first, then just pop them in and let them float around for a hour or so every day.

I think two bowls would be easier to use than a single bucket.
