At the moment I have got it how I want it, I like the feature in gutsy if you dont have the required codecs it will ask you if it should fetch them, im using it more than me xp as I only do general stuff like surf and listen to music.
The plus side for me is the no virus issue
have came across something, if you want to put an icon on your desktop, that when you click on it will go to ie here, do the following
open tab in firefox, go to specific site, then drag the tab to your desktop
No. I use my new Vista one now. Linux is fine if you don't want ot do anything too esoteric, like programming or databse stuff, but as I do a lot of that I need Windows. It's a bugger but there it is.
well at least you gave it a try, now what you mean though theres just some thing linux wont run, plus most of the stuff you use for work run on a ms os
Yeah, as I say it's annoying. I will say though that Linux is pretty good now and erfectly adequate for most people's use. It should be more popular seeing as it is free.
