Re: Anyone know anything about the K850i?
I used to have the K800i, Ericsson are the best to go for in my opinion. The only thing I thought was a bit crap with the K800i was it was a bit bulky, but the K850i looks a bit smaller.

Re: Anyone know anything about the K850i?
Phone size has never been an issue for me as I wear combat trousers for work and they have knee pockets. I put the phone in there and zip it and I wear a bluetooth headset with auto answer so the phone doesnt see daylight until I get back home and because the pocket is down there, you dont even notice you have a phone.
The K850i looks smaller and sleeker and has more megapixels so im hoping it is what I have now but better. Totally agree Ericsson are the best, I used to be a nokia guy before the K800i but have seen nothing so far to make want to go back.

Re: Anyone know anything about the K850i?
Bought one in excellent condition but am very disappointed. The phone is excellent but the camera is poor. The 800i camera is better. How can a 3 megapixel camera be better than a 5 megapixel one?! I googled to see if I was the only one that found this..... I wasnt! Received it yesterday, Its back on ebay already!

That's daft, what's the problem with the camera? The camera on the 800i is very good, it's weird that the newer version isn't as good.

I've got a Sony Ericsson v640i and the cameras crap on that, in case you're tempted. It has a delay on the take and the pictures come out all blurry like you've been moving it around.

Re: Anyone know anything about the K850i?
I think most camera phones suffer with that problem but my camera doesnt. It must be something to do with them the problems of trying to fit a good camera in a phone. Some of the stuff from the camera seems to be getting left out. I have decided to try one of these once the other one has sold....
Sim Free Mobile Phone - Sony Ericsson K810i Cyber-shot ( Noble Blue )
I was happy with what I had and this 810i is a slight revision on the 800i. We live in hope!

Re: Anyone know anything about the K850i?
I've got the 810i
Its good, but I have had it replaced twice. First one the mic stopped working, the second one the screen went tits up
Still got my old 800 as a back up
I wish Nokia would start making decent phones again as I always had Nokia before I got the 800i. They were perfect until I got the N70, which had the worst software ever and kept crashing

Re: Anyone know anything about the K850i?
I was Nokia for 9 years before the 800. I used to buy phones with all the latest gizmos and then dont use the gizmos! The 800 is perfect it has everything I need thats why I have had it nearly 2 years as I used to change phone after a year maximum. But now it has started dropping calls, sending calls to voicemail while its on and sporadically not allowing outbound calls. Some kind of reception issue me thinks. But 22 months and over 1200 hours of talk later, I cant really complain.
What are the differences then Jools between the 800 and the 810? I can see the keypad is different but what else?
