Charlie White is a 37 year old artist/photographer based in Los Angeles. He graduated from New York's School of Visual Arts in 1994 and produces some of the most amazing photography I've seen.
White uses props and caricatures to create metaphors for modern life. Some of his most intriguing work is based around the character Joshua and is chronicled in his 2001 creation
Understanding Joshua.
I find the actual photography striking, and the props are awesome. I'm no huge art aficionado, "I know what I like" pretty much sums up my expertise in the world of art. But even I found White's images compelling rather than just aesthetically pleasing. The moment I saw the first glimpses of
