Re: What are you reading, huh? huh?
I've been reading 'Darkly Dreaming Dexter', the novel that inspired the series Dexter, currently showing its second series on FX at the moment. Dexter is a serial Killer with a conscience. Brought up and tutored in how to conceal the true intentions of what he calls his 'Dark Passenger'.
I loved the first series, and the book is also good - although slightly different from the TV series. There is so much good humour in Dexter, and some cracking oneliners, as he tries to fake emotions and convince people he is a normal human being.
There is some definite influence from Bret Easton Ellis's 'American Psycho' here, but less violent.
Loving it, and will be reading the next two: 'Dearly Devoted Dexter' and 'Dexter in the Dark'. Also loving the Alliteration.

I've had my nose in Casino Royale all day yesterday and most of the day today. I've almost finished it.
It's a really good book.

Re: What are you reading, huh? huh?
I'm about to start reading 'Alchemist' - the woman on the secondhand bookstall recommended it and I'll read anything when I'm desperate.
I finished my free book (IT) the other day, so I'm gonna go and leave it in Le Vert Anglais in Montpellier, hopefully someone who speaks English will pick it up.

Re: What are you reading, huh? huh?
I really want to read Sepulchre by Kate Mosse, so I went to look for it today. I was gonna get the one translated into French, but it costs 22€! There's a law that doesn't allow French books to be discounted, so you always pay the full price, but I didn't expect it to be that much. The translated one was only a bit more (25€), so I was torn. I came back and looked on Amazon France and it's only 10€ for the English one there (they're allowed to discount English books in France, it's just the French ones that the law applies to). I think I'll give the French one a miss and get the English one instead. I wouldn't be able to totally understand the French one anyway, but I was gonna give it a good go while sitting with the dictionary open .
