I've always said that generally people who believe in God are the most horrible and selfish people I've ever come across. (imo).

I'm sure you know a lot of people without knowing their beliefs?

A statement too far and too general IMO.
Worth a rethink.

I've never noticed to be honest (I usually 'mingle' with non believers :D ) - but my great aunt believes in god (she's a catholic nun) - she's definitely not selfish - she gave up sex and a fur coat for him.... the cigs and the alcohol she found much harder - that took her another 30 years to accept....:D
