The good news is, the new and super way to look younger and more beautiful involves eating. The bad news is, it involves eating PIGS TROTTERS!
Hot from New York, where they take beauty and looking younger and slimmer very seriously, comes the new trendy and needleless way to get your intake of Collagen. New Yorkers are currently swapping their botox appointments for THE new anti-ageing food, PIGS FEET.
Himi Okajima, who owns the much hyped Japenese restaurant
Hakata Tonton in New York explains that the
delicacy is rich in collagen (the protein that looks after skin and muscle tone, usually pumped into face creams and fillers) and sooo is currently offering a choice of 33 dishes all containing trotters.
It's simple Mr Okajima explains, 'Collagen helps your body retain moisture,' 'Your hair and skin will look better, but it's not just for looking beautiful now. If you begin eating collagen in your thirties, you will look younger in your forties.'
If you're not put off enough by the thought of eating animal foot then you will be when I explain that pigs do not have sweat glands. That doesn't sound bad does it? No, but because they cannot sweat the build up of filth and perspiration is absorbed into their flesh and feet being the lowest gravitational wise will naturally contain the biggest proportion of yackyness, and sometimes even pus.
Some people will try anything to look younger, some people will try anything because it's the latest fad and some will try anything just so they can actually say they've tried it. But, if you're the type of person who doesn't fancying nibbling on a pus filled pigs foot ever, you may need to make a mental note of the word
Tonsoku which is Japanese for 'pied de cochon', translated literally into English mean 'pig’s feet.' I know these faddy posh restaurants will go to any lengths to cover up what they're really serving but if the name doesn't give it away, the smell of pork cracking when it's served if front of you sure will.
